Workshop Guidelines

    • Submit Your Idea: Fill out our workshop proposal form with your topic, goals, and key takeaways.

    • Collaborate with Us: Once approved, the BWM team will work with you to schedule, promote, and plan your session.

    • Lead the Session: Host your workshop in a supportive environment where your insights will shine and leave a lasting impact.

  • Not at all! While membership has its perks, our community values diverse insights and welcomes learning from a wide range of voices and experiences. Whether you’re a member or not, if you have valuable knowledge to share, we’d love to hear from you!

  • We accept proposals year-round. If you’re aiming for a specific month or event, submit your idea at least 6 weeks in advance to allow for planning and promotion.

  • Most of our workshops run for 60 minutes, including time for Q&A. If you need more time for your session, let us know in your proposal.

  • Yes! Co-hosting is welcome, especially if it adds a fresh perspective or additional expertise to the session. Just make sure to include your co-host’s information in your proposal.

We welcome workshops in a variety of formats, including interactive sessions, presentations, and panel discussions. Your session should be:

  • Actionable: Include clear takeaways or tools the audience can use.

  • Engaging: Encourage participation and create a space for meaningful conversations.

  • Inclusive: Be mindful of the diverse experiences within the BWM community.

About Black Women Marketers

Founded in 2020, Black Women Marketers is a membership community of over 1,000 women that aim to increase visibility among Black women in the marketing industry through 3 key areas of career development: skill training, resource sharing, and community building.

Our mission is to provide Black women with everything they need for their overall advancement in the ever-changing marketing climate.

We combine mentorship, advocacy, and accessibility to increase sisterhood in the industry.
